We ask that you kindly check-in before heading to your tour (you pass our street on the way) so we can greet you, assign you a site, and explain where the facilities are. This way, when you arrive back after dark, you know exactly where you are going and all guests are looked after!

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. For the safety and comfort of all guests, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

Yes, Latham Park playground is just a short walk away. There is also Te Rauone Playground (10-15min drive away). It’s a modern children's playground. With plenty of space to play and the beach just steps away.

Unfortunately, no but the harbour is only a short walk away - 500m down the road!

Augustines of Portobello is right next door. Portobello Hotel and Bistro, Cove Cafe and the Portobello Store are located within walking distance in the village.

We are located in Portobello on the Otago Peninsula which is a 20-30min drive from the centre city. There are 2 main ways to get to us, via Portobello Road (the “low” road) which takes you along the harbour or via Highcliff Road (the “high” road). Please note - Highcliff Road is very narrow in some places and may not be suitable for larger vehicles, but it is very picturesque.

Allans Beach – Just a 17-minute drive (around 12 km) from Portobello, Allans Beach is one of the Otago Peninsula's most spectacular coastal spots. Wander through impressive sand dunes, enjoy the wide sandy beach, and keep an eye out for New Zealand sea lions and the rare yellow-eyed penguins.

Victory Beach – Around 19 minutes (14 km) from Portobello, Victory Beach is famous for its dramatic coastal scenery. Discover the striking rock formations known as The Pyramids and, at low tide, you may even spot the remains of the historic SS Victory shipwreck.

Te Rauone Beach – Located just 10-15 minutes from Portobello towards Harington Point, Te Rauone Beach is a peaceful, sheltered beach that's perfect for a relaxing stroll or a family outing. Recent community-led coastal restoration and sand enhancement projects have helped revitalise the beach, and a lovely children's playground nearby makes it a great spot for families with young kids.
