The park is terraced with grassed camping areas surrounded by trees and shrubbery. Powered sites cost $17.50 per adult and $8.50 per child. Non-powered sites are $15.50 per adult and $7.50 per child.

Facilities include a modern kitchen, shower and toilet bathrooms. A laundry and internet room with wireless connection. A covered barbecue area for cooking and eating in the outdoors.

Tourist flats range from studio-type to 2-bedroom units. All have en-suite bathrooms, kitchen, tv and are well designed and tastefully decorated. Priced from $108.00 to $130.00 for 1 or 2 persons and $15 each extra person.

The backpackers rooms can sleep up to 4 in private rooms, no sharing, and they’re conveniently located near the facilities. The cost is $55 for 2 and $10 each extra person. Linen hire is available for $5 per person.

The Park is only a 5 minute walk from good village services. There’s a local store, a service station, coffee shop, takeaways and a fine restaurant. A hotel with Bistro, bottle shop supplies and ice.

A great place for a walk or mornings run is just behind the village along Hatchery Road toward the Marine Studies Centre, or the more energetic can go out around the inlets where there are wading birds. The camp is a quiet retreat after a long days driving and guests enjoy the evening birdsong.
